Design is everywhere. Companies realize that great digital experiences are now the differentiator, and can make or break entire industries. This is why every company today is becoming a digital product company, whether they like it or not. The Asia Pacific region is no exception.

We’re inspired by how our customers—Qantas, Telstra, ANZ Bank, Canva, GrabTaxi, Hyundai, MYOB, and Samsung, among others—are leading with design. The APAC region is now one of the most dynamic centers for design in the world. Vibrant design communities are popping up, talent abounds, and APAC companies are turning significant investments toward digital products, now more than ever before.

“At MYOB, we empower more than a million Australian small businesses. Creating powerful customer experiences for those businesses is the number one goal of our design team, and InVision is our secret weapon. We are in the midst of creating a streamlined brand experience across all of our digital platforms, and InVision’s tools enable us to manage this process with ease.”

At InVision, we’re passionate about being at the forefront of new design ideas, and what we’re seeing in the APAC region is no exception. That’s why we’re joining the fun and putting down roots. We are excited to announce a regional hub in Sydney, Australia. We’ll be more than doubling our local team (currently eleven InVisioners) so that we can better support our customers in the region, forge new partnerships with local design teams, and lend our voice to the design conversations happening in Australia.

“At Grab, our design team is very focused on putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. InVision has been crucial in helping us achieve this — we’re able to design with the customer in mind and then get new features or functionality in front of them to ensure that we’re meeting a real need.”

As one of the first orders of business, we’re bringing together designers and design leaders in Sydney and Melbourne this November with our popular design education and design community programs. This includes hands-on workshops, Design Leadership Forum, and Design+ community events. We have held these events from San Francisco to Stockholm, and the conversations are always so vastly different, we can’t wait to see which direction these workshops in APAC take us.

The new regional hub in Sydney follows our recently announced strategic partnership with Atlassian to improve the design and development workflow for digital products. Atlassian and the New South Wales Government have officially joined forces to create a technology and innovation precinct in Sydney, creating an incredible opportunity to deepen our connection to both the exceptional talent pool and the design-forward companies in the area.

“We are committed to attracting forward-thinking companies like InVision to cement Sydney as a world player in technology, boost our economy and bolster our world-class talent.”

We’re so thrilled to become a more permanent part of the design scene in APAC. If you’re interested in joining us, please check out our careers page and keep an eye out for more detail about local InVision events.
