Adobe announced some big news today: You can now create Artboards in Photoshop CC 2015. Even though Artboards are brand new, we’ve partnered with Adobe to support them in InVision right off the bat.
What does this mean for me?
When you upload a PSD with Artboards, InVision will automatically turn each artboard into its own screen, retaining the title you gave it in Photoshop.
If you’ve synced PSDs with us previously, this means you won’t have to use symbols to get your screens into InVision (but you still can, if you want). Just upload the PSD like normal, and the new feature will automatically convert the Artboards into individual screens.
Note: if you’d like to exclude an Artboard from showing up in InVision, just add a minus “-” before the Artboard name

Getting started with Artboards
First, you’ll need to make sure you’re running the latest version of Photoshop: Photoshop CC 2015.
Then, you’ll need to make a new document. You should see the new document type, Artboard, in the drop down menu.
Photoshop Artboards launched with a big list of helpful device sizes, including some recommendations for common resolution questions: What size should my designs for X be?
Once you’ve made your new Artboard project, check your layers panel. The Artboard will present as a brand new level of hierarchy.
You can duplicate Artboards by either alt+dragging an existing Artboard, or create new ones by selecting the Artboard tool (shift+v), and clicking the Create new Artboard button.
After you’ve created your Artboards, you can upload the PSD to InVision and we’ll create separate screens for your Artboards automatically, or you can quickly export your comps using the “Quick Export as PNG” function. You’ll be able to easily set a destination folder for your Artboards right from your layers panel.
We’re incredibly thankful to the Photoshop team for their partnership to make this feature a reality on day 1. Be sure to check out all the other great updates to Photoshop CC 2015.
