Nothing says Fourth of July like fireworks, BBQ, red, white, and blue… and staring into your laptop screen for several hours as you try to create something amazing.

Okay, so that last one might not make it into everyone’s Independence Day celebration, but for these seven designers, America’s birthday was their primary inspiration.

Take a break from grilling, crack open an ice-cold LaCroix, and check out our favorite patriotic Dribbble shots:

Patriotic Dribbble shots

By Armando Godinez Jr. This whimsical design showcases the best type of food to accompany fireworks: hot dogs. The mustard even spells out America.

Patriotic Dribbble shots

By Brian Edward Miller. Created for outdoor apparel and gear co-op REI, this illustration transports you to a more rugged Fourth of July—kayaking on serene sunset waters.

Patriotic Dribbble shots

By Sidecar. This fun icon set features quintessential patriotic imagery, like hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelons, popsicles, barbecues, and bald eagles.

Patriotic Dribbble shots

By Paul O’Connor. This portrait pays homage to Founding Father John Adams. He served as the first vice president and second president of the United States, and was a leader of the movement for American independence.

Patriotic Dribbble shots

By Derric Wise. This retro-inspired design uses abstract, curved lines to spell out USA. The more you look at it, the more intricate it becomes.

Patriotic Dribbble shots

By Jacob Etter. One of the most popular patriotic song lyrics is seen exploding through fireworks. Samuel Francis Smith wrote the lyrics to “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” in 1831, where “Let freedom ring!” was first mentioned. This song served as the de facto national anthem of the United States before the adoption of “The Star-Spangled Banner” in 1931.

Patriotic Dribbble shots

By Bronwyn Gruet. Don’t forget your furry friends on the Fourth! Whether they need a Thundershirt to stay calm or sunglasses to enjoy the show, our pets deserve to be part of the celebration.
