Reflect back after a project or sprint to improve as a team
In any project, there are things that go well and things that didn't go so well. It's important to take a few moments after at the end of any project or sprint to reflect back on successes and failures as a team to find ways to improve in the future.
Use this simple Quick Retrospective template to note things your team should continue doing, stop doing, and do differently to walk away with a list of actionable insights to improve the process next time.
How it works
Step 1: Start with the Continue section in the upper left corner. Spend 5 minutes individually reflecting and write down items on sticky notes.
Step 2: Then, as a group, spend 15 minutes reflecting together on the stickies in that section.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the remaining sections.
Use the Quick Retrospective template after completing a project or sprint to reflect with the team on things you want to continue doing, stop doing, do differently, and next steps.
