Sometimes you stumble upon illustrations that are so cheerful and playful that you just can’t help but smile. So if you’re looking for a pick-me-up, head over to Mackenzie Child’s Instagram feed and scroll through his bright, fun, cartoon-inspired doodles.

Mackenzie is a product designer, illustrator, and side-project enthusiast. He currently leads design at Podia, a platform for creators to sell online courses, memberships, and digital downloads.

And when we said he’s a side-project enthusiast, we really meant it. Mackenzie seems like he’s always working on something new, like creating a pack of Slack emojis based on his cat, Chico. And with more than 58,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, Mackenzie is dedicated to educating his fellow designers by sharing a behind-the-scenes look at his illustration process.
