We’ve been listening carefully to what our users (and the design community at large) need to help them produce their best work. What we’ve heard is that designers want to the ability to extend their rapid prototyping process by exploring advanced animations without having to write code or switch between multiple tools.
That’s why we’ve been quietly working on Motion, a visual and intuitive way to rapidly author rich interactions right inside InVision. Motion is coming soon, but we wanted to give you a sneak preview and get your early thoughts and feedback.
“Preview: Motion—advanced animations and transitions in InVision.”
Motion lets you communicate your design vision in the highest fidelity possible by combining elegant transitions and element animations with your static design files. You can add animations or transitions from our library of pre-made effects, or customize your own animations.
With Motion, you’ll be able to easily adjust the timing, duration, and easing of any animation—our animation engine will do the hard work for you. But if you want to get really technical, you could dive into the Motion code editor to take more control over how your animations present.
Motion will already support the file types you currently use in InVision—Photoshop, Sketch, and images files you’ve included manually.
Join over 1 million designers using InVision and get first access to Motion!
