After receiving his PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Ohio State, Zach led insights work for other billion dollar brands at Unilever and Altria.

Before joining the Google VideoAds team in Zurich, she worked on Google Calendar in London, and had previously worked as a Senior Analytics Consultant for IBM Watson Talent. With a background in psychology and applied statistics, Angela is passionate about how user centered metrics and analytics can inform product decisions to benefit and assist the user.

The job of user research is to help us be more certain in our work. Being more certain keeps us from building the wrong thing, and allows us to design and strategize with more accuracy. But sometimes being more certain means being pragmatic, less precious, and more practical. Not every project affords enough time or budget for proper research, and that’s okay.
